  this is why i believe the wts is so totally wrong on the blood issue.

  blood, as it circulates through a living organism, is merely a bodily fluid.

  it does not take on any special significance until that organism expires.

  Evolution and "Missing Link" theory

  not long ago, i caught the tale end of a show where this biologist believes that both apes and humans evolved from a common ancestor.

  therefor there is no so-called "missing link".

  has anyone heard about this theory?.

  although it is generally known that skeletal remains and fossils give us a much older date for the existance of humans, do jws still take the bible's cronology as literal fact?

  what i'd like to know, since it's been a few years now, what does the regular jw understand about bulgaria?

  has the society ever published anything in their meeting mags/books concerning the agreement arising out of the european human rights commission hearing?

  Cowboy Honeymoon

  after the wedding, the cowboy from texas takes his young bride to england for the honeymoon.

  after finding a suitable hotel, the texan walks up to the front desk and sounding like the cowboy that he is, says to the clerk "hi!

  i'm from texas and i jus' got married - this here's my little woman - and we want your best room.. the clerk replys with his thick british accent "i say!

  Does this scare you?

  i've been hearing more and more talk from the christian right on cable evangelical tv that i find particularly disturbing.

  i actually heard this evangelist suggest that a nuclear strike by israel/u.s./britain against an arab/muslim country would be a fulfillment of the revelation prophecy about "the eyes rotting out of their sockets" etc.

  i guess i just don't like the idea of influential tv evangelists endorsing what would i would call the launching of ww3.. do you think a pre-emptive strike against iran would be seen by the christian right as the beginning of the big "a", led by israel with backing of u.s. and/or britain, in fulfillment of bible prophecy?.
